Short answer: For small quantities and short deadlines, applying a logo to a stock garment is enough. From 1,000 pieces upwards, when the corporate colour must match exactly and you want your own label and custom details, custom production is the better choice and often more economical per piece.
Logo on a stock garment
- Colour choice is limited to the supplier's stock colours.
- Another brand appears on the garment's inner label.
- It is fast, which helps with urgent and small orders.
Custom production
- The fabric colour is chosen to match your corporate palette.
- Your brand appears on the woven inner label.
- Details such as panels, pockets, collar, zip and zip puller can be specified.
- The same colour and pattern are kept on repeat orders.
Logo, label and design are not the same thing
A chest logo is the brand application on the outside of the garment. A brand label sits inside, at the collar. A care label carries the washing instructions. Design for production means the garment itself (colour, panels, cut) is specified for your company.
