Short answer: Product type, total quantity, intended use, size breakdown, colours, logo file with placement areas, and the required delivery date. A quote prepared with these seven pieces of information arrives faster and can be compared with other suppliers' quotes on equal terms.
1. Product type and model
T-shirt, polo, sweatshirt, hoodie, fleece, jacket or vest. Add the collar type (crew, polo, mandarin) and your zip preference if you know them. If you liked one of our series models, the model name is enough.
2. Quantity
The total quantity per product has the biggest effect on the unit price. Because pattern, screen and set-up costs are spread over the quantity, the unit cost changes noticeably between 1,000, 2,500 and 5,000 pieces.
3. Intended use
An office team, a field team, a trade fair and a promotional giveaway do not need the same product. The intended use determines the fabric, weight and logo technique.
4. Size breakdown
An exact breakdown is not required at the quote stage; an approximate ratio is enough. The exact breakdown is taken from staff data before the sample is approved.
5. Colours
Share your corporate colour codes (Pantone or HEX). The fabric colour is approved on the sample.
6. Logo file and placement areas
A vector file (.ai, .pdf, .svg) gives the best result. Say whether the logo goes on the chest, back or sleeve; each area is a separate application cost. To see the placement in advance, use the design your product tool.
7. Delivery date
Give the date by which you need the products. The schedule is planned together around sample and approval times.
